My name is Arūnė and Eurovision is Me.
I’m 14 years old and from Lithuania. My hobbies (other than Eurovision) include Basketball, dancing and singing.
The first time I watched Eurovision was in 2012 and it’s still my favourite so far. In 2011, before Eurovision, my mom told me she’s going to watch Eurovision, but I didn’t know anything about it but I was interested. I wanted to watch, but I went to sleep! I told myself the next year that I’m going to watch Eurovision next year, and I did!
I became obsessed with the contest in 2015, and I started to get interested in pre-concerts and the other songs of artists. There’s no particular reason why I love it, I actually don’t know. It’s just part of my life. I love ESC more and more. I love the fact that European countries come into the contest and give us 3 days of joy – well for me, it’s a whole year of joy, especially when artists release new songs!
Eurovision means life for me. I’ve made friends in the Eurovision fandom, and it’s easy to make friends because people are very friendly and nice.
