Moldova selects their Top 8!

Last night, the first and only semi-final in Moldova took place, with the top 14 songs being cut down to eight. The results of this O Melodie Pentru Europa semi-final were decided through a combination of both jury votes and televoting, with four songs qualifying through the jury and four through televoting.

Here are the 14 semi-finalists:

  3. Sandy C – A Beautiful World

  4. Valeria PaÈ™a – Freedom

  5. Valentina Nejel & Sergiu Pungă – Ne-a fost iubirea un joc

  6. Ethno Republic & Surorile Osoianu – Discover Moldova

  7. Marks & Stefanet – Join Us in the Rain

  8. Aurel Chirtoacă – Dor de mamă

  9. Big Flash Sound – Logic

  10. SunStroke Project – Hey Mamma

  11. Diana Brescan – Breath

  12. Nadia MoÈ™neagu – Never Give Up On Us

  13. Samir Loghin – Glow

  14. The One – Dance

The jury selected:

  • Ethno Republic & Surorile Osoianu – Discover Moldova

  • Aurel Chirtoacă – Dor de mamă

  • SunStroke Project – Hey Mamma

  • Diana Brescan – Breath

The televoting winners were:

  • Vozniuc feat. Vio Grecu – Don’t Lie

  • Marks & Stefanet – Join Us in the Rain

  • Samir Loghin – Glow

These eight acts will perform again tonight, where the winner will go on to represent Moldova at Eurovision in Kyiv.
