Over the last three years, we’ve been trying to find your Best of the Bunch from each of the competing Eurovision nations. We’ve been recapping the entries from 2006 to 2015, and then giving you, the fans an opportunity to vote for which act you think is the Best of the Bunch! These polls are ongoing, and will continue to be ongoing, as we know favourites can change over time, but now we want to create the ultimate ‘Eurovision’ based on your Best of the Bunch from each of the nations!
Today we’re going to be showing the next lot of 11 participants in what would be our ‘Ultimate’ Eurovision as decided by you!

France
As one of the Big 5 nations, France automatically qualifies through to the final each, year, but unfortunately they haven’t always had the best of luck. Despite that, there have been some gems over the years, and you’ve decided that your current Best of the Bunch is Amandine Bourgeois with her 2013 entry L’enfer et moi!

Estonia
Estonia always manage to surprise us, with such an interesting range of styles and performances at Eurovision. There’s the powerful ballads, to the upbeat pop entries as well as the downright crazy, but that’s what we love about Estonia at the contest! You’ve voted, and Urban Symphony is your current Best of the Bunch!

Slovenia
Slovenia haven’t yet won the contest, but they’ve sure sent some winning songs over the years. Although they’ve had some gems, they’ve also had some duds, so watching Slovenia at Eurovision is like one big rollercoaster of results! The fans voted, and the current Best of the Bunch is Maja Keuc with her epic entry, No One!

Italy
Italy took an extended break before the turn of the 21st century, and returned in 2011 refreshed and ready to win! Because of this, our Best of the Bunch years were fewer than some of the other nations, but the quality of the songs certainly made up for it. The fans have voted, and Marco Mengoni continues to lead the Best of the Bunch poll with his entry L’essenziale!

Czech Republic
The Czech Republic have also had a shorter history in our Best of the Bunch years, having only debuted at the contest in 2007 but then inconsistently participating after that. As such, there were only four entries to choose from, but the voters have chosen Marta Jandová & Václav Noid Bárta as the current best of the bunch with their entry Hope Never Dies!

Denmark
With a recent win under their belt, you could say that Denmark has been one of the stronger nations in recent years. Within the Best of the Bunch years, the nation found themselves in the final majority of the time, so it was hard to pick just one Best of the Bunch! Lucky we had you to help, and you’ve voted Emmelie De Forest as your current Best of the Bunch!

San Marino
One of the smallest, and also one of the unluckiest nations of Eurovision is also one of our favourites, because everyone loves an underdog! It’s not often that most of the participants in the poll are the same participant, and that’s of course Valentina Monetta, and it’s her that the voters love the most! Our current Best of the Bunch is Valentina with her 2013 entry, Crisalide (Vola).

Iceland
With over 30 years of history at the contest and no win just yet, you might be mistaken to think that Iceland aren’t successful at the contest. On the contrary, Iceland have had some epic and iconic entries, some of which are in our personal favourites list! We left the voting up to you, and you decided that Greta Salóme & Jónsi are your current Best of the Bunch with their song Never Forget!

Bosnia & Herzegovina
We can always trust Bosnia & Herzegovina for a bit of Balkan flair, and from their ballads to their pop entries, we’re usually a big fan of their work! We have a bit of an affinity to the Balkan ballads, and it seems you do too, with Hari Mata Hari your Best of the Bunch with the song Lelja!

Romania
Romania has had one of the best streaks in Eurovision history, having been a part of every final since the semi-finals were introduced. They’ve had a few close calls, finishing in 3rd place a couple of times, and it’s one of those 3rd place entries that you’ve voted as your Best of the Bunch! We’re talking about Paula and Ovi with their entry Playing with Fire!

Ukraine
Ukraine is another Eurovision powerhouse, with such strong but yet diverse entries across the years. We’ve seen the craziness of Verka Serduchka and Svetlana Loboda, and the power of Alyosha and Mika Newton, but the results are in, and it’s Verka Serduchka who is your current Best of the Bunch!
