Voting begins for this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest!

We are only hours away from this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and phase 1 of the public vote has now been initiated. This year the vote will be a mixture of public and jury vote, with the public given two chances to vote for their favourite entries.

The first phase of the voting has now officially begun, with the public able to go online to vote for no less than 3, but no more than 5 of their favourite acts. Those wishing to vote will need to watch the official recap video of the rehearsal performances, and after this, can then go on to select 3, 4 or 5 of their favourite performances. If unsure, there are 1 minute rehearsal clips available to watch after the official recap.

This phase of the voting opened at 20:00 CET on Friday the 23rd of November and will close on Sunday 25th of November at 15:59 CET, just before the live show. In this phase, viewers can vote for their own country.

In the second phase of the voting, the public will need to go online during the live show after all the performances have been shown. The voting window will open for approximately 15 minutes, and the voting system is the same whereby no less than 3 acts can be voted for, but no more than 5. Viewers can vote for their own country in this phase.

The votes given by the audience will then be converted into points which will then be reflected on the scoreboard when it comes down to revealing the results of this year’s competition.
