🇫🇷 Alvan & Ahez win French Selection with ‘Fulenn’

The French Eurovision selection is complete, with 12 talented acts competing to represent the nation at Eurovision this year.

The competition took place over various rounds. After all 12 acts performed, the top five from the public vote advanced to the superfinal. From there, a Francophone and International jury selected a wildcard act. Both jury and public voting was used in the Superfinal.

Here is the full line-up:

  • Joan – “Madame” (Mrs)
  • Saam – “Il est où?” (Where is it?)
  • Elia – “Téléphone” (Telephone)
  • Marius – “Les chansons d’amour” (Love songs)
  • Hélène in Paris – “Paris mon amour” (Paris my love)
  • Joanna – “Navigateure” (Sailor)
  • Alvan & Ahez – “Fulenn” (Spark)
  • Julia – “Chut” (Shhh)
  • Cyprien Zeni – “Ma famille” (My family)
  • Pauline Chagne – “Nuit Pauline” (Night of Pauline)
  • Elliott – “La tempête” (The storm)

The top five acts were as follows:

  • SOA – “Seule” (Alone)
  • Marius – “Les chansons d’amour” (Love songs)
  • Alvan & Ahez – “Fulenn” (Spark)
  • Pauline Chagne – “Nuit Pauline” (Night of Pauline)
  • Elliott – “La tempête” (The storm)

Cyprien Zeni was awarded the wildcard.

The Superfinal saw Alvan & Ahez take the lead with the jury, receiving 102 points. The group led the public vote with a total of 120 points. With the combined score, they had a convincing lead.

Pauline Chagne finished in second place, and SOA in third.
