For many across Europe, growing up in front of the TV watching Eurovision with friends and family is not out of the ordinary. As an Australian, for most of my life, I was completely unaware that such a contest existed. Many years ago, as a beginner myself, I took to the internet to learn more about the contest, what it was, how it worked and its importance. Through the research, I found such joy in learning about such a strong European tradition, and I would love to share my knowledge with others who are new to Eurovision to not only just answer potential questions, but to grow appreciation and love for the contest.
