Over in the small nation of San Marino, the two young artists following on from Valentina Monetta’s eventual success, Michele Perniola and Anita Simoncini have released their song and video. The song, ‘Chain of Lights’ was written by Ralph Siegel and John O’Flynn, and the young duo apparently loved the song from first listen.
The song was not written specifically for Eurovision, but rather, has been adapted for the contest. Both the artists, although only young, have had Eurovision experience through Junior Eurovision. Michele performed San Marino’s debut song for Junior Eurovision in 2013, and then Anita performed in 2014 as part of the girl group, the Peppermints.
