Interval act announced!

Now that all the artists are confirmed, and the songs submitted, we can start looking at how the show will come together. Whilst the votes are counted, there will be an interval act, and it has now been confirmed that the interval for the grand final will be world renowned percussionist Martin Grubinger.

His performance is said to be huge. He has composed an original piece that mixes classical music with big band music, choral singing and percussion. The act will go for nine minutes, and will include 40 musicians as well as the Grammy award winning Arnold Schoenberg Choir. The aim of the act is to show Europe, and the world how diverse the Austrian music tradition is.
