Lithuania: Eurovizijos continues, first Semi-finalists chosen!

It’s taken a while, but finally we are (sort of) getting closer to a conclusion in Lithuania. We’re technically at heat 7, which is what took place last night, and the winners of the show just taken place are the first semi-finalists. In the heat next week, the last of the semi-finalists will be chosen.

Eight acts performed their Eurovision bids once again last night:

3. Greta Zazza – Like I Love You

4. Gražvydas – Paint the Sky Blue

5. Gytis Ivanauskas – Get Frighten

6. Aistė Pilvelytė – I’m Like a Wolf

7. Edgaras Lubys – Could it be?

8. Sasha Song – Never Felt Like This Before

Like in the previous heats, both the jury and public vote count in choosing the qualifiers. The votes are displayed separately, and then the jury and televote are combined to make the final result. Here are the first semi-finalists with their previous performances:

• Aistė Pilvelytė – I’m Like a Wolf

• Sasha Song – Never Felt Like This Before

In this heat, the jury selected former Eurovision star Sasha Song as their top pick, followed by Aistė Pilvelytė and Greta Zazza. The televoters gave their 12 points to Aistė Pilvelytė and then Gytis Ivanauskas followed behind with the 10 points, however due to his jury result, he will not be continuing in Eurovizijos.
