Lithuania’s National Final Concludes: Fusedmarc to Kyiv!

After months of heats, Lithuania’s national selection process has now come to a conclusion. A total of seven acts performed in the final, six of which qualified from last week’s semi-final, and then there was an online wildcard vote, of which Lolita Zero won, making Get Frighten the 7th song competing in the final.

Here are the competing acts:

  • Fusedmarc – Rain of Revolution

  • Aistė Pilvelytė – I’m Like a Wolf

  • Gabrielius Vagelis – Feel Myself Free

  • Kotryna Juodzevičiūtė – Love Shadow

  • Paula – Let U Go

  • Greta Zazza – Like I Love You

  • Gytis Ivanauskas (Lolita Zero) – Get Frighten

Like previous weeks, the voting consisted of both jury and televotes. Fusedmarc took the top amount of points from the Lithuanian and International juries combined votes, followed by Kotryna and then Aistė Pilvelytė. As for the televoting, Fusedmarc also scored the highest points from the Lithuanian public, followed by Aistė Pilvelytė and then Gytis Ivanauskas (Lolita Zero). With all the points combined, Fusedmarc score the highest possible amount of 24 points, making them the winner of the national final! Coming in at second was Aistė Pilvelytė, followed by Kotryna Juodzevičiūtė.

Fusedmarc is a duo consisting of Cilia and Vakx, and back in 2005, they were named as the breakthrough of the Lithuanian music scene. A few years later, they were named as the best experimental band in Lithuania. This year will be their next challenge, which is competing against 42 other entries at Eurovision in Kyiv!
