A few weeks back, images were released of the 2018 Junior Eurovision stage design, and while nations are in the process of selecting their artists and songs, more organisational news has been released.
An important piece of the Junior Eurovision puzzle is the host, or hosts of the show and it seems that the Belarusian broadcaster is getting closer to selecting their hosts. A total of ten people are still in the running, and all the potential hosts have attended the BTRC studios for the final round of auditions.
Two of the potential hosts include former Junior Eurovision participants Helena Meraai and Ruslan Aslanov who are both in the final ten. They were also involved with this year’s Junior Eurovision selection within Belarus.
The expectations for the potential hosts of the show are that they are energetic and confident as well as fluent in English. The crew has selected candidates that have had live experience before as Junior Eurovision will be broadcast to millions worldwide.
Stay tuned for more news!
