It has been a quiet national final season for Switzerland as they previously revealed that they would be searching internally for their next Eurovision act, rather than the more traditional national final format they have used for many years.
It has now been revealed that Swiss Broadcaster SSR SRG have chosen Luca Hänni with the song She Got Me. The 24 year old has previously won Deutschland Sucht den Superstar and has already build a career in Switzerland as well as Germany and Austria.
The song was written by Luca and a team of national and international composers at a songwriting camp. The song has rhythmic and Middle Eastern elements, and Luca says that he wishes to share his passion for music and dance with the Eurovision audience.

The selection this year was internal, where musicians were invited to submit their entries to the Swiss broadcaster. The entries were assessed by a 100-member audience panel and 20-member international jury. Broadcasters SRF, RTS, RSI and RTR were all given the opportunity to submit wildcards to the process, however the panel and jury made the final decision.
