Although an early favourite with the fans, Portuguese representative Conan Osiris failed to qualify to the Grand Final of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, however he has not left empty handed. It has now been announced that he has won the Barbara Dex Award for 2019.
In case you aren’t aware of this award, it’s an unofficial award currently run by songfestival.be which aims to find the ‘worst dressed’ of each Eurovision year. Each year there are a handful of contenders for the award, and this year was no exception. With thousands of votes cast, here are the Top 5:

- Cyprus – Tamta
- Belarus – ZENA
- Belgium – Eliot
- North Macedonia – Tamara Todevska
