Malta Confirm for Junior Eurovision 2019

We are getting closer to knowing the final line-up for this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest, with Malta one of the latest nations to confirm their participation.

Maltese Broadcaster PBS have now revealed that they will be participating at the contest, and that a national final will once again be used to select their participant and entry. Artists between the ages of 9 and 14 can submit their original or cover songs to the broadcaster. The deadline for submissions is the 30th of June.

A jury will select 12 artists from the pool of submissions, and during the first half of August, footage of each of the finalists will be shown on television as well as social media. There will be an online voting period which will conclude on the 13th of August, with the winner of the selection to be decided by jury and televote and revealed on the 20th of August.
