Spain: Which song will Blas Cantó sing at Eurovision?

Spanish broadcaster RTVE and their Eurovision 2021 representative, Blas Cantó have now revealed the two songs in contention to represent the nation at Eurovision this year.

The two songs that Blas Cantó will perform in the upcoming Spanish national final are titled ‘Memoria’ and ‘Voy a Quedarme’. Voting is now open to the public (you can vote here), with the winning song to go on to represent Spain at Eurovision this year. Voting will consist of only public voting this year.

Destino Eurovisión will take place on the 20th of February, where Blas will perform both songs, and by the end of the show, the winning song will be revealed. The staging director working with Blas during the national final and at Eurovision is Marvin Dietmann, who had previously worked with other Eurovision delegations from Austria, Bulgaria and Germany. His most successful entry staged at Eurovision was the winning Austrian performance, Rise Like A Phoenix by Conchita.

Blas Cantó was set to represent Spain at Eurovision in 2020, however the contest was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was due to sing Universo at Eurovision 2020.
