Switzerland Begin the Search for their next Eurovision Entry

Swiss broadcaster SRF will feature an open submission process as they look towards the next edition of Eurovision.

Switzerland will be holding an open submission process, where interested artists, songwriters and producers can submit their potential Eurovision entries to the broadcaster. The full details on the selection will be announced mid-August, and the submission window will begin on September 1st. The songs will be judged by a series of juries, with the final selections to be done internally.

During 2020 and 2021, the Swiss entries were selected through songwriting camps. Switzerland was represented by Gjon’s Tears in both years, with the 2020 edition of Eurovision cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The nation finished in third place with Gjon’s Tears and his song, ‘Tout l’univers’. Watch the performance below:
