Five artists have been selected to continue to the next round of the German Junior Eurovision selection, ‘Junior ESC – Wer fährt nach Paris?’
The chosen artists were selected by a jury panel, and will now continue to the online voting round of the competition. In this round, it will be up to the public to vote for their favourite singer online. The three artists with the most votes will go through to the final of the selection which will take place on September 10th. Each of the three finalists will perform two songs each.
Here are the five artists selected for the online voting round:
- Marta – A 10-year-old from Bad Salzuflen
- Anjali – An 11-year-old from Eschborn
- Yike – An 11-year-old from Berlin
- Pauline – A 12-year-old from Koblenz
- Emilie – A 13-year-old from Homburg
To vote in this round, you must be from Germany, Austria or Switzerland. Outside of these countries, you will not be able to see the applicants’ videos nor vote for the artists. If you are within those countries, you can vote here.
This year marks Germany’s second participation at Junior Eurovision. On their debut in 2020, the nation was represented by Susan who performed ‘Stronger With You’. Unfortunately, the nation finished in last place with 66 points.
