Lithuania Begins the Search for Eurovision 2022

The submission period for Lithuania’s Eurovision selection, Pabandom iš naujo, has begun.

The search has begun for the next Lithuanian Eurovision act, with Pabandom iš naujo returning as the selection method. The competition will feature up to 36 participants across six shows. Applications will be open until November 25th, with the competing songs required to meet Eurovision rules.

LRT will also be spending up to 54,000 Euros across all the performances to increase the quality of the performances and staging. The selection will begin in January.

In 2021, The Roop represented Lithuania with Discoteque. The group finished in 8th place, marking the nation’s second-best Eurovision result. Watch the performance below:
