🇲🇹 Who will Represent Malta at Junior Eurovision? Here are the Competitors!

Maltese broadcaster PBS recently announced the names of the finalists of Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022. A total of 16 acts will compete in the upcoming national selection, with the winner to represent the nation in Yerevan later this year.

Here are the finalists:

  • Emma Kate Formosa – “Bounce”
  • Gaia Gambuzza – “Diamonds in the Skies”
  • Shanzay Mangion – “Heartbeat”
  • Kaylyn Mallia – “Here I Am”
  • Aaliyah Cassar – “Infinity”
  • Rih and Bri – “Karma”
  • Cassidy Gauci – “Light Up”
  • Naomi Busuttil – “Little Cheeky”
  • Cesca Galea – “See the Invisible”
  • Kayleen Mercicea – “Shooting Star”
  • Andrea Camilleri – “Spark”
  • Ma Girlz – “Stereo”
  • Charelle Micallef – “The Extra Miles”
  • Kensley Ciappara – “Tliet Xadini” (Three monkeys)
  • Isis Jade Miller – “Unbreakable”
  • Geneve Dimech – “With You By My Side”

The final will take place on October 2nd. The voting will consist of 75% Jury vote and 25% Public Vote. Only the results of the top three songs will be revealed. In the case of a tie, the jury vote takes preference.

In 2021, Ike and Kaya represented Malta at Junior Eurovision with the song ‘My Home’. The duo finished in 12th place with 97 points. Watch the performance below:
