🇲🇹 Who will Represent Malta at Junior Eurovision? Here are the Competitors!

Maltese broadcaster PBS recently announced the names of the finalists of Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022. A total of 16 acts will compete in the upcoming national selection, with the winner to represent the nation in Yerevan later this year.

Here are the finalists:

• Emma Kate Formosa – “Bounce”
• Gaia Gambuzza – “Diamonds in the Skies”
• Shanzay Mangion – “Heartbeat”
• Kaylyn Mallia – “Here I Am”
• Aaliyah Cassar – “Infinity”
• Rih and Bri – “Karma”
• Cassidy Gauci – “Light Up”
• Naomi Busuttil – “Little Cheeky”
• Cesca Galea – “See the Invisible”
• Kayleen Mercicea – “Shooting Star”
• Andrea Camilleri – “Spark”
• Ma Girlz – “Stereo”
• Charelle Micallef – “The Extra Miles”
• Kensley Ciappara – “Tliet Xadini” (Three monkeys)
• Isis Jade Miller – “Unbreakable”
• Geneve Dimech – “With You By My Side”

The final will take place on October 2^nd. The voting will consist of 75% Jury vote and 25% Public Vote. Only the results of the top three songs will be revealed. In the case of a tie, the jury vote takes preference.

In 2021, Ike and Kaya represented Malta at Junior Eurovision with the song ‘My Home’. The duo finished in 12^th place with 97 points. Watch the performance below:
