This year marks the sixth participation of Portugal at Junior Eurovision. Their best result at the contest is 14th place, however hoping to improve on that is this year’s representative, Simão Oliveira. He will perform the fado-style song, ‘O Rapaz’.

The Portuguese Junior Eurovision entry is now out. Simão Oliveira will sing the fado-style song, O Rapaz in Paris later this year.
