Hungary: A Dal concludes, Boggie triumphs!

After a long and exciting run, Hungary’s national selection process A Dal has concluded, with Boggie taking the win with the song Wars for Nothing. There were eight artists who had won the right to compete in the final, and they were:

  • Bálint Gájer – That’s How It Goes (0 points)

  • Boggie – Wars For Nothing (24 points)

  • Spoon – Keep Marching On (20 points)

  • Kati Wolf – Ne engedj el (16 points)

  • Ádám Szabó – Give Me Your Love (28 points)

  • PASSED – Mesmerize (0 points)

  • Ív – Fire (4 points)

  • Zoltán Mujahid – Beside You (20 points)

There were two rounds of voting. The first round was judged by the expert jury, which included former participant, Magdi Ruzsa. The judges picked four songs they liked the best, giving either 4, 6, 8 or 10 points. The second round was public voting, where audiences decided who they want to see represent Hungary at Eurovision 2015.

The interval act was the band Leander Rising, who had an entry in A Dal. Andras Kallay Saunders also performed a medley of songs.

Boggie will be taking her act to the Eurovision stage in May – will you be voting for this song? Let us know what you think!
