JESC: Alexander Minenok to represent Belarus!

A national final has taken place in Belarus, where a mixture of jury and public votes have decided who will be the next junior superstar to represent Belarus at Junior Eurovision. A total of 10 acts took to the stage – 8 solo acts, and 2 group acts. The acts are listed below:

3. Elena Titova

4. Stefania Sokolova

5. Neskuchny Vozrast, band

6. Yulia Mozhilovskaya

7. Maria Zhilina

8. Zinaida Kupriyanovich

9. Olga Konovalova

10. Alexander Minenok

The voting split was 50/50 jury and public vote, and it was decided that 13 year old Alexander Minenok was the winner of the contest with the song Music of My Victories. The show was hosted by 2014 Belarussian Eurovision participant, Teo, alongside Olga Ryzhikova.

Belarus has taken part of every Junior Eurovision since its very beginning in 2003, and has won twice – in 2005 and 2007. They also hosted the contest back in 2010 in the capital, Minsk.
