A week ago, we reported that Alexa Curtis would be the lucky participant to follow in Bella Paige’s shoes and perform on the Junior Eurovision stage for Australia. Now, Alexa has released the song which she will be taking to Malta, and it’s called ‘We Are’
The song is an uplifting pop number, with the message of making sure we value the important things in life, such as friendship, and believe in oneself. The song was co-written by Ali Tamposi, who is best known for co-writing Kelly Clarkson’s Grammy nominated song ‘Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)’. The other co-writer was award winning writer Tania Doko, who has worked with Tina Arena, Samantha Jade, and even the winner of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, Måns Zelmerlöw!
Alexa is represented by Universal Music Australia, and the song We Are will be released worldwide to purchase on the 14th of October, but you don’t have to wait to listen! Junioreurovision.tv have released the official video, which you can watch down below. If you want to learn more about Alexa, click here.
