Another year, another Junior Eurovision. The show took place yesterday, (or this morning, for Australian fans brave enough to stay up and watch!) and after a couple of hours of great entertainment, we came to a conclusion and the winner was decided.

17 acts took place this year, and here was the running order of the show:

  1. Ireland

  2. Armenia

  3. Albania

  4. Russia

  5. Malta

  6. Bulgaria

  7. Y.R. Macedonia

  8. Poland

  9. Belarus

  10. Ukraine

  11. Italy

  12. Serbia

  13. Israel

Through the new voting system, it was revealed that Georgia had won the contest for a record breaking 3rd time in the history of Junior Eurovision, with also a record number of 239 points. Mariam Mamadashvili performed her song Mzeo, meaning Sun, last in the running order, and it impressed the juries, who were generous with points, especially the adult juries.

Coming in at second place was Armenia’s Anahit and Mary, with Tarber, at 232 points. In 3rd place was Italy’s Fiamma Boccia with the song Cara Mamma, finishing off with 209 points. To see the full table and final points, here is the table below:
