Romania Makes the Cut: 15 Acts to Compete in the semi-final!

Over the weekend, Romanian broadcaster TVR broadcast a show to reveal their semi-finalists, after the jury made their judgements from the live auditions back in January. A total of 15 acts will perform in the semi-final on the 26^th of February, and from there 10 acts will qualify to the final on March 5.

At the audition stage, there were 72 entries, but here are the 15 that survived the cut:

• Cristina Vasiu – Set the Skies on Fire

• D-lema – Adventure

• Eduard Santha – Wild Child

• Elizé & No Stress – Fără bariere

• Ilinca ft Alex Florea – Yodel It!

• Instinct – Perale

• Maxim – Adu- ți aminte

• MIHAI – I Won’t Surrender

• Ramona Nerra – Save Me

• Tavi Colen & Emma – We Own the Night

• Tudor Turcu – Limitless

• Xandra – Walk On By

• Zanga – Două sticle

The reveal show included guests Elena Gheorghe, Cezar, Monica Anghel, Marcel Pavel and Dan Bittman, who was Romania’s first representative. They were also joined on stage by Luminita Anghel, Paula and Ovi.
