Iveta Mukuchyan, who represented Armenia in 2016 with the modern tune LoveWave is back with a new song titled Keep on Lying. The song was written by Iveta herself, and the video clip accompanying the song was directed by Vahan Stepanyan.
As with LoveWave, Iveta boasts a fresh and modern sound, and although Keep on Lying isn’t as hard hitting as her Eurovision entry, the simple beat complemented with her unique and powerful voice is once again a successful match.
Iveta states on her official website that she wants ‘to send people to another world and back with my music’ and this song certainly feels other worldly. Not to mention the official video clip, which is set in a dilapidated building, and features Iveta with a glass fishbowl shaped helmet. The vibe given off in the video clip is suited to this darker sounding track, and the cinematography must be commended (cinematography done by Davit Abrahamyan/ DroDrone and Vahan Stepanyan/ PAN Photo).
