For Eurovision 2017, Montenegro opted for an internal selection, and late last year, the eccentric Slavko Kalezić was selected. Now, his song which is called Space has been released with an accompanying video clip. The song was composed by Momčila Zekovića.
Slavko rose to fame after participating in the X Factor Adria back in 2013. He was coached by Željko Joksimović who is no stranger to Eurovision, after participating in 2004 and 2012, hosting in 2008 and composing numerous entries over the years. Not only does Slavko focus on singing, but he’s also a member of the ensemble of the Montenegrin National Theatre. He has had success in the past with film and TV, and has had over 30 roles in theatre. He also just recently released his debut album The Dream of Eternity.
