Italy Chooses Maria Iside Fiore for Junior Eurovision!

It’s time to tick the next nation off the list, as Italy has now announced who will be representing them at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest! Maria Iside Fiore will be flying the Italian flag in Tbilisi with the song Scelgo (My Choice) which was written by Maria herself, alongside Stefano Rigamonti and Fabrizio Palaferri.

The song Scelgo tells of a young girl’s feelings about the uncertainty of the future, however she does not let the fear of the unknown stop her. Listen to the song down below:

About Maria Iside Fiore:

Maria was born in 2004 in Carrara and now lives in Sarzana, Liguria where she attends the music section of the local junior high school. Apart from singing, she also plays the clarinet, and since a young age, she has also participated in the dance group Danzabilmente which promotes the integration of disabilities through dance. In 2015, she began to sing as a solo act, and has since taken part in talent shows and contest both nationally and locally. Last year, she was a finalist of the contest Cantagiro in the junior category.
