A Dal Continues: Here are the next 6 qualifiers!

Hungary’s Eurovision national selection, A Dal, kicked off last week with the first 10 performers competing for the first 6 places in the next round of the competition. This week, the second heat of A Dal took place, where the next round of 10 performed their potential Eurovision entries, with you guessed it, another 6 places up for grabs.

Here’s who competed:

  • Peet Project – Runaround

  • Odett – Aranyhal

  • Yesyes – I Let You Run Away

  • Maya ‘n’ Peti – Nekem te

  • Viki Singh – Butterfly House

  • SativuS – Lusta lány

  • Gergely Dánielfy – Azt Mondtad

  • Nene – Mese a Királyról

  • Gábor Heincz Biga – Good Vibez

  • AWS – Viszlát Nyár

If you’re not already familiar, the voting process of A Dal features two rounds of voting. The first round comprises of a combination of jury and televote, and the five acts with the top votes are through to the next round. The second round is based on 100% televoting, where the public get to vote the 6th qualifier from the remaining participants.

So here’s how the voting went!

The winners of this heat, tied on 45 points were AWS and Gergely Dánielfy, with both acts impressing the juries, while AWS received one point higher in the televote. The two acts tied on 43 were yesyes and Gábor Heincz Biga, and the fifth act advancing to the next round was Odett.

With the second round of voting, the televoters decided that SativuS deserved a spot in the final!
