It’s a Little Bit Country: Here’s the Dutch Eurovision Entry!
He’s a little bit country, and a little bit rock ‘n roll, and he’s a whole lot of Eurovision this year. We’re of course talking about Waylon, who was selected quite early on in the Eurovision season as the Dutch representative for this year. He previously represented The Netherlands back in 2014 as part of The Common Linnets, and now he’s going solo, and we now know the song he will be taking with him.
Over the last few days, Waylon has been premiering songs from his upcoming album ‘The World Can Wait,’ one of which would be his Eurovision entry. He presented five songs on the Dutch TV show De Wereld Draait Door, even though his selected was already pre-decided on by Waylon and his team.
The song he chose is called Outlaw In ‘Em, a country-style song with a bit of rock ‘n roll mixed into it. It’s miles away from Calm After the Storm which he performed alongside Ilse DeLange at Eurovision 2014, which was a softer but still country music entry. Listen to the song down below:
