Junior Eurovision: The Search for Serbia begins!

We are still a few months away from this year’s Junior Eurovision, but already the search begins for Serbia. This year marks the 10th participation for Serbia at the contest, so whoever is chosen to represent the nation holds a special responsibility!

The Serbian broadcaster RTS have officially opened the submissions for Junior Eurovision with entrants able to submit their applications until the 1st of September. The broadcaster has also released the guidelines for applications, including the following:

  • The song must be between 2:30 and 3 minutes long
  • The songs must not have been released before the 1st of May (both music and lyrics)
  • The songs must be in Serbian language
  • The artists must be between 9 and 14 as of the date of the show, which is the 25th of November

Although the song submissions are open, it is still unclear as to whether the selection will be televised as a national selection or instead an internal selection. Stay tuned for more news from Serbia!
