Meet the hosts of Eurovision 2019!

The next piece of the Eurovision 2019 organisational puzzle is now complete, with the hosts of the competition now revealed. Over the last few years we have seen all-male hosting teams, and then last year we saw an all-female group however this year we return to a mix of two male, and two female hosts. Let’s meet the hosts!

Bar Refaeli

Bar Refaeli is an international supermodel who also has had extensive experience in presenting and broadcasting. In 2012, she launched her own model casting show titled Million Dollar Shooting Star, and aside from her successful modelling career, she has also hosted numerous prime time television shows in Israel, including The X Factor in 2013.

Erez Tal

Erez Tal has had no less than 25 years of broadcasting experience having produced, developed and hosted numerous television hits. This includes ten seasons of Big Brother, and he created and developed the game show The Vault which has sold to 23 nations across the world making it the most successful Israeli game show format in the world..

Assi Azar

Assi Azar is currently one of Israel’s top hosts and screenwriters. He may be known to Eurovision fans for his hosting of the Israeli Eurovision selection, Rising Star. He was also listed in the global 100 Most Influential Gay People as part of OUT Magazine.

Lucy Ayoub

Lucy Ayoub is a new Israeli talent who came to fame through the popular social media platform, YouTube. She has now become a prominent television host, and has also delivered the results of the Israeli jury at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest.

The semi-finals of this year’s contest will be held on the 14th and 16th of May, and the final to be held on the 18th. The contest will take place in Tel Aviv, Israel, with the theme of the contest ‘Dare to Dream’
