Norway Decides! KEiiNO to Eurovision 2019!

The Norwegian selection Melodi Grand Prix has just taken place where the Norwegian hopefuls have presented their entries for Eurovision 2019.

The national selection featured 10 artists who were revealed back in January. The show was hosted by Heidi Ruud Ellingsen and Kåre Magnus Bergh.

Here is the full line-up:

  • Chris Medina – We Try
  • D’Sound – Mr. Unicorn
  • Mørland – En Livredd Mann
  • Anna-Lisa Kumoji – Holla
  • Erlend Bratland – Sing For You
  • Ingrid Berg Mehus – Feel
  • Hank Von Hell – Fake It
  • Carina Dahl – Hold Me Down
  • Adrian Jørgensen – The Bubble
  • KEiiNO – Spirit In The Sky

The voting was split into two rounds. After all 10 songs were performed, the international juries and public vote on their favourite entries. The voting was split 50/50 between the juries and public. The highest voted four songs went onto the Gold Final where they were placed into two duels.

The four highest voted acts were:

  • D’Sound – Mr. Unicorn
  • Anna-Lisa Kumoji – Holla
  • Adrian Jørgensen – The Bubble
  • KEiiNO – Spirit In The Sky

The winners of the duels went onto the Gold Duel, where the public voted once again for their favourite entry. The two Gold Duel Finalists were:

  • Adrian Jørgensen – The Bubble
  • KEiiNO – Spirit In The Sky
