Who will represent Ireland at Junior Eurovision 2019? The Search Begins!

Irish broadcaster TG4 has begun the search for the next Irish Junior Eurovision participant in what will mark their 5th participation at the contest.

The broadcaster opened the application process in late May, calling for singers to take part in the Irish selection process. It has not yet been made clear whether the broadcaster will be using Junior Eurovision Eire as the selection format, however based on previous years, it is likely that they will stick with this format.

Interested singers have until the 14th of June to apply.

Last year Ireland was represented by Taylor Hynes who performed the entry IOU. He finished in 15th place with 48 points. Listen to the song again below:
