Junior Eurovision: Israel Withdraws from 2019 contest

The Israeli broadcaster KAN has now revealed that Israel will not be competing at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest which is set to take place in Gliwice-Silesia in Poland.

The broadcaster’s press department has confirmed their withdrawal from the competition but provided no reason for their withdrawal. Despite that, the broadcaster will still be broadcasting the contest.

Israel returned to Junior Eurovision in 2018 after a two year absence from the contest. Noam Dadon represented Israel with the song ‘Children Like These’ and finished in 14th place with a total of 81 points. You can watch the performance below:
