Dutch public broadcasters NPO, AVROTROS and NOS have now appointed four members of the core team for Eurovision 2020. Two Executive Producers and two Deputy Executive Producers have been named as part of the core team.
The two Executive Producers are Sietse Bakker and Inge van de Weerd, while the Deputy Executive Producers are Emilie Sickinghe and Jessica Stam. Let’s get to know the team!
Sietse Bakker has worked for many years as the Online Manager and also the Communication Manager for the Eurovision Song Contest, as well as being the Event Supervisor for Eurovision on behalf of the EBU. Bakker has also worked on Junior Eurovision for two years as the Executive Supervisor. Speaking of the upcoming edition of the contest, he says,
‘We want to create a Eurovision Song Contest that surprises Europe in a positive way, something that everyone in The Netherlands can identify themselves with and be proud of. We have set the bar high, but there is so much talent and creativity in The Netherlands that I am confident that it is possible. The ambition of this team to really make something special out of this, together with the chosen host city or region, is great!’
Inge van de Weerd
