Earlier in the Junior Eurovision season, it was announced that Jordan Anthony would represent Australia at Junior Eurovision this year. Now, the song that he will perform has been released and is titled ‘We Will Rise.’
Australian broadcaster ABC has revealed the entry on social media, and we now know that the song was co-written by Jordan himself. The song is an uplifting pop number which is all about overcoming doubt and celebrating inner-strength.

The 14-year-old singer rose to fame on the recent season of the Voice Australia, where he was the youngest performer on the series. He received high praise from the judges, including former Eurovision participant Guy Sebastian.
Jordan’s music journey began at a young age, with his parents recalling Jordan holding a note in a certain song when he was only 1. His passion for music has grown, both as a singer and songwriter, having written his first song at the age of 7. He also plays the piano and performs as a busker on the streets of Perth where he is from. Jordan says, ‘Music for me is the ultimate form of expression. When people listen to my songs, I want them to relate and, happy or sad, know that they are not alone.’
Director of Blink TV and Head of Delegation, Paul Clark has commented on the choice, saying, ‘Jordan inspired us on The Voice, his character and his talent really resonated. This is the perfect opportunity to take his music to a much bigger international stage, where he will be representing Australia for the first time. Go Jordan!’
