The second season of X Factor Malta kicked off back in October, and now, the finalists for the live shows have been selected. A total of 12 artists have been selected for the live shows, including former Junior Eurovision winner, Destiny Chukunyere.
A total of three artists were selected from each of the four categories. Each category will be led by one of the four judges, Ray Merceica (Boys), Ira Losco (Girls), Alexandra Alden (Overs) and Howard Keith Debono (Groups)
Here are the finalists:
Boys:

Girls:
- Jasmine Abela
- Destiny Chukunyere
- Justine Shorfid
Overs:
- Ed Abdilla
- Celine Agius
- Paul Anthony
Groups:
- Bloodline
- F.A.I.T.H
- Yazmin and James
The most notable name in the line-up is Destiny Chukunyere who won Junior Eurovision back in 2015. Destiny has also participated on Britain’s Got Talent, where she qualified to the live shows and performed in the second semi-final, where she was eventually eliminated. Destiny was also a backing singer for Michela, who represented Malta at Eurovision in 2019 with the song, Chameleon.
Jasmine Abela has also participated in the Maltese national final before, having participated in 2018 with the song Supernovas and in 2016 with the song Alive.
