The final of Melodifestivalen has now taken place, with the next Swedish act for Eurovision decided. After an exciting few weeks of competition, the final 12 took to the stage once again in the hopes of representing Sweden at Eurovision this year.
Over the last 5 weeks, four semi-finals and a second chance round were held, with two acts per semi-final qualifying directly to the final, and two going onto the second chance round. Last week the Second Chance round took place where four more qualifiers were decided.
Here is the full line-up:

The voting was decided by a mix of jury and televote. A total of 8 international juries accounted for 50% of the vote, while the public held the other 50% of the vote. The top jury score was tied this year between The Mamas and Dotter, who both received a total of 65 points. In third with the jury was Felix Sandman. The televote would then be the decider, and with the highest televote points was The Mamas with 72 points. The Mamas received just one point more than Dotter who finished in second place. In third was Anna Bergendahl, and Hanna Ferm and Anis Don Demina closing out the Top 5.
This is not the first time we will have seen The Mamas at Eurovision, as they were the backing artists for John Lundvik in 2019.
