Ukrainian broadcaster UA:PBC have announced that they will use a national selection to determine their Junior Eurovision representative this year. Like in the last two years, the selection will be held online.
Applications can be sent into junioreurovision.ua from August 5th to 25th. The applications can be submitted with or without an original song, and any applications that meet the requirements will be published on the site with the hashtag #uajesc2020.
The final will feature 11 artists, including 8 artists with original songs, 2 with cover songs and the finalist that received the most likes. From August 28th to September 4th, the broadcaster will reveal the final line-up. The finalists with original songs will record the final versions, while those without original songs will be given songs to record.
Voting will take place between September 5th and 8th. The decision will be made through both online voting and with a professional jury. The result will be announced no later than September 12th.
