Ukrainian broadcaster UA:PBC have now announced the eleven acts that will be competing to represent Ukraine at Junior Eurovision this year.
A total of 105 acts applied during the submission process, with 70 of the submissions deemed eligible for the selection. A jury has selected the 11 acts that will go through to the final, and they are:
Participants who submitted an original song
- Polina Babii –Â Superbit
- Oleksandr Balabanov –Â Vidkryvai (Open)
- Yuliia Karimi –Â PEOPLE
- Anzhelina McFarlane (RREALINA) –Â MY SPIRIT
- Yaroslav Politov (YAR POLITOV) –Â GOOD ALWAYS WINS
- Anhelina Terennikova –Â The Vibe
- Olena Usenko (Ellen) –Â Never Get Free
- Sofiia Shkidchenko –Â OK
Participants who submitted a cover song
- Nikita Achkasov –Â My Oasis
- Darin Osman –Â A Natural Woman
Participants who received most likes from the online audience
- Daniiela Shapohnikova –Â Tvoiie Maibutnie (Your Future)
The finalists now have until September 4 to record the final version of the song they wish to compete with in the selection. The participants who submitted a cover song will be given an original song to record. You can listen to the submissions of the shortlisted artists here.
