The Russian Junior Eurovision selection has now progressed, with the auditions now complete. Over the weekend, young hopefuls auditioned at the Igor Krutoy Academy with the hopes of progressing to the televised final, set to take place on the 25th of September.
A total of 11 acts were selected:
- Sofia Feskova
- Arseny Slesarev
- Artem Fokin
- Sofia Shkepu
- Artem Morozov
- Rutger Garecht
- LittleZ (Duet with Mikhail Koval and Polina Koroleva)
- Sergey Filin and Veronica Litovchenko
- Sophia Tumanova
- Genych (Gennady Pereverdiev)
- Sofia Kirsenko
The winner will be decided by 50% online voting and 50% jury vote. The online voting will open when the entries are revealed, and will stay open until the end of the voting window during the broadcast.
Last year, Tatyana Mezhentseva and Denberel Oorzhak represented Russia with the song ‘A Time For Us’ which achieved 13th place with 72 points. Watch the performance below:
