Valentina has been announced as the French Junior Eurovision representative this year. She will follow in the footsteps of previous French representatives Carla (2019), Angélina (2018) and Thomas (2004), all of which finished in the Top 10 at the contest.
Valentina was brought up in a musical environment, with her mother singing lullabies to her when she was young, which sparked her interest in singing. In 2018, she stood out at the Kids United Nouvelle Génération audition, and successfully joined four other members. She then became a mascot of the Kids United Nouvelle Génération, which helped build her fans on social media. She has recorded two albums with the group, and has participated in UNICEF missions.
Valentina has said that her biggest idol is Ariana Grande, however she also loves French rap music. She can sing and rap in French, however also loves to sing in Italian, as her mother is an Italian teacher. She especially enjoys the music of Laura Pausini.
Valentina’s Junior Eurovision song will be released at a later date, so stay tuned!
