Kazakhstan will select for Junior Eurovision in November

Kazakhstan will select their Junior Eurovision entrant through a national final set for November 6.

More details on the Kazakh selection were revealed in a press conference, with the application window to be open until October 6th. Certain rules apply, including:

  • A maximum of six people can be in a group
  • Artists must be between 9 and 14 years old as of the date of Junior Eurovision this year
  • Artists must be Kazakh citizens or be legally residing in the nation for at least two years

After sifting through the submissions, a jury will select 30 acts to be uploaded to the Khabar website. Between October 8 and 12, public voting will determine which 10 acts will advance to a live final to be broadcast on November 6th. The results of the online vote will be revealed on October 12th.
