Montenegro to Return to Eurovision 2022

After a two-year break, Montenegrin broadcaster RTCG has announced their return to Eurovision.

The nation preliminarily confirmed their participation in 2020, however did not feature on the final list released by the EBU. The broadcaster later attributed their withdrawal to financial issues and recent results. Montenegro did not return in 2021.

At this stage, there is no news on how Montenegro will select their act for the contest. Early in their participation, they internally selected their acts, however in their two most recent participations, used a national selection. The most recent participant was D Mol who represented the nation with the song ‘Heaven’. Watch the performance below:
