Eurovision 2022: National Selection Launched in Moldova

Moldovan broadcaster TRM has launched their Eurovision selection, with plans for a national selection.

Singers are able to submit their potential Eurovision entries to Eurovision.md or the TRM studios in Chisinau. Singers must be over the age of 16 years to be eligible to compete. The songs must not have been released or performed before September 1st, 2021.

The Moldovan selection process will occur over two phases. Firstly, entries will be assessed between January 25th and 28th, and then live auditions will be held on January 29th. At that point, the broadcaster can decide whether to hold a national final on March 5th.

Natalia Gordienko represented Moldova with the song ‘Sugar’ in 2021, finishing in 13th place. Watch the performance below:
