The final Eurovision 2022 song is now out, with Nadir Rustamli to sing Fade To Black at Eurovision this year. Earlier in the season, Azerbaijani broadcaster announced Nadir as this year’s participant.
Thomas Stengaard and Andreas Stone Johansson wrote the entry, with the two songwriters no strangers to Eurovision. Thomas previously worked on ‘El Diablo’ and ‘Adrenalina’, the 2021 entries from Cyprus and San Marino respectively. Andreas previously worked on ‘Too Late For Love’ which represented Sweden in 2019.

Nadir is no stranger to singing competitions. The talented singer just won the second season of The Voice of Azerbaijan. His mentor on the show was former Eurovision winner, Eldar Gasimov. The now Eurovision representative Nadir admitted that Eurovision was on his mind while choosing Eldar as a mentor on the show.
