The Dutch Junior Eurovision national selection is complete, with four acts competing to represent the nation at this year’s contest.
The show, hosted by former participants Matheu and Stefania, took place at the RTM Stage in Rotterdam. The voting consisted of 33% public vote, 33% adult jury and 33% children’s jury. On the adult jury were:
- Chantal Janzen – Host of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, TV Host, Actress and Singer
- Fleming – Singer and songwriter
- Glen Faria – Singer
On the children’s jury were the following:
- Ayana – Represented the Netherlands at Junior Eurovision 2021 in Paris
- Shine – Placed second in Junior Songfestival 2021
- Priscilla – Placed fourth in Junior Songfestival 2021
Here are the acts and results of the show:
- Infinity – “Never Ever” 24 points (8+8+8) 4th
- MixedUp – “It Doesn’t Matter” 30 points (10+10+10) 2nd
- High5 – “Because I Know” 27 points (9+9+9) 3rd
- Luna – “La festa” 36 points (12+12+12) 1st
In a unique voting sequence, the public and both juries agreed upon the rankings of each act. Luna will now go on to represent The Netherlands at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest, set to be held in Yerevan, Armenia later this year.
