🇵🇹 Portugal: Here are the Festival da Canção 2023 Participants!

Twenty artists are in the running to represent Portugal at Eurovision this year. The songwriters were previously revealed, with the option to interpret their own songs on stage or feature another artist.

Here are the artists for the first semi-final:

  • April Ivy – “Modo Voo” (Flight Mode)
  • Churky – “Encruzilhada” (Crossroads)
  • Cláudia Pascoal – “Nasci Maria” (I was born Maria)
  • Bolha – “Sonhos de Liberdade” (Dreams of freedom)
  • Mimicat  – “Ai Coração” (Oh heart)
  • MOYAH – “Too Much Sauce”
  • NEON SOHO – “Endless World”
  • Esse Povo – “Sapatos de Cimento” (Cement shoes)
  • SAL – “Viver” (To Live)
  • You Can’t Win Charlie Brown – “Contraste Mudo” (Mute contrast)

  • Lara Li – “Funâmbula” (Acrobat)
  • Bandua – “Bandeiras” (Flags)
  • Bárbara Tinoco – “Goodnight”
  • Dapunksportif – “World Needs Therapy”
  • Edmundo Inácio  – “A Festa” (The party)
  • Inês Apenas  – “Fim do Mundo” (The end of the world)
  • Ivandro – “Povo” (People)
  • Teresinha Landeiro – “Enquanto é tempo” (While it’s time)
  • The Happy Mess – “O Impossível” (The impossible)
  • Voodoo Marmalade – “Tormento” (Torture)

The first semi-final will take place on the 25th of February, and the second on the 4th of March. The final will take place on March 11th.
