Minus One get a second chance for Cyprus!

For the hardcore Eurovision fans, you’ll recognise our next act for Eurovision 2016. Minus One competed in the national final in Cyprus, however lost out to Giannis Karagiannis who represented the island nation in this year’s contest. Now, Minus One have been internally selected by the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation, RIK, to represent Cyprus in Stockholm next year.

Minus one have become one of Cyprus’ most loved rock bands, having performed for the last 6 years both in Cyprus and overseas. As one of the fan favourites in the national final, it made sense to send them to Sweden in 2016 to best represent the country.

The song they will be singing will be announced in the coming months, however we do know that it will be a collaboration with the famous Thomas G:son, who has worked with a number of Eurovision artists, the most famous being Loreen with her winning song Euphoria.
